TRAINING
Many bad behaviors can be prevented by early puppy training. A puppy's early life is the best time to teach good social manners and proper obedience
training. However, don't ignore the older dogs. Bad habits can be changed at any age. For a happy, healthy dog, obedience training should be consistently
applied throughout your dog's life.

Individual training - Basic or advanced obedience training beginning age 4 months and older twice weekly for 3 weeks, 1 hour each lesson
Board and train - For an additional $100, enroll your dog in our day care program 3 times a week during their 2 week stay.
Group training - Puppy, basic and advanced training beginning age 4 months for 6 weeks, 1 hour each lesson

Emily Duheimish, ABCDT
Emily has been with Cypress Falls Pet Resort for over 5 years. Through the Dog Gurus, she has received her certificate for Safe Off Leash Dog Play as well as a certificate in Dog Evaluations. She brings immense knowledge to our doggie daycare yards, ensuring that our guests stay safe while having fun! Emily is Pet Tech CPR & First Aid trained and has received a certificate for Dog to Dog Group Dynamics. She earned her Basic Canine Specialist certificate through IBPSA, and is working towards being one of only twenty-five trainers in the Houston area to be acknowledged with the Certified Council for Professional Dog Trainers certificate.

Terry McGregor
Terry McGregor is a native Houstonian who spent many years with the Harris County Sheriff's Office before leaving in 1996 to pursue dog training full-time basis. He successfully trains over 250 dogs each year, along with teaching their owners.
We are pleased to be working with Terry to help our busy pet owners who may not have the time to teach their dog basic commands through weekly lessons. Terry is our trainer for the two-week Board & Train program. During this program, your pet will receive daily lessons to learn the basic obedience skills needed to ensure they are a well-behaved member of your family. Terry will teach your pet to walk on a loose leash at your side, to automatically sit and stay when you stop walking, and to lay down and stay. Terry will teach your pet these commands in our lobby where there will be plenty of distractions such as toys, treats, people, and other dogs. This program will also counsel pet owners about common behavioral problems, such as: housebreaking, chewing, jumping, and digging.
